It Doesn’t Happen if You Think About It – Only If You Do It!

I know it really sound simple doesn’t it? I think about running at least three or four times a day. I didn’t say “I run four times a day,” I said “think about” doing it.

Christmas Bingo

I’m back in Colorado after spending time in Illinois for Christmas. Every year we drive down to my grandma’s house in “Amazing Arcola.” It’s a REALLY small town (they still have brick roads!) and a nice change of pace after a few days in Chicago. There isn’t much in the way of entertainment so everyone just sits around and eats, talks, and eats some more. Then on Christmas Eve the excitement begins! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked at the certificate and swore I would run again. I never did.
This coming spring I will.

I’m 29 years old today! I think there is a certain age where you aren’t supposed to enjoy your birthday anymore…and I’m definitley not there yet! Im having an awesome day in Chicago on Christmas vacation. I wanted to do something running related for my birthday and I tried to find a race but since its december my options are pretty limited. I am planning on running an indoor mile tomorrow which seems pretty crazy short but I want to do something fun and mix it up.
