2011 Training Plans, Motivation and Focus

I hope you’re getting some good winter training in during these months! You certainly will get an amazing reward for your motivation during this time, when you come out to do some Spring races then eventually to Summer when our favorite race comes around, Freihofer’s Run for Women on Saturday, June 4th! I can’t wait. We should be focused on getting in some good mileage when the weather is cold as this will build up our endurance base for when we start ‘speed’ training as the weather warms up! Elite athletes across the world adapt this principle and it works year in, year out.
