Freihofer’s Junior 3K Run Launch

Hi Everyone -
Hope your training is going great ahead of the Freihofer’s Run for Women on Saturday, June 4th… less than 5 weeks away now! I’m very excited to be returning to Albany to compete in this awesome race along with everyone else — whether you’re doing it for the first time, have competed each year or form part of the elite athlete field. It’ll be fun all round! Make sure you continue all your training right up until the race and don’t train too hard in the week prior to the race. I will blog again before I get out to Albany on what a ‘taper’ week should look like for you. (A ‘taper’ is a reduction in training, done in the week prior to a race. Everyone can benefit from this, not just elite athletes. It’ll guide you to your best performance/experience in the FR4W)!
